Its a bird! Its a plane! No its SUPER-BESTFRIEND!

Who would you call if problems get in your way and gets up to your height and that they almost drown you? Do you call for Superman or for Batman?

Well as for me, superheroes such as them doesn't exist in my world of fantasies. I have my friends to be the knight and shining armor that you meet in the stories you read or the superhumans that you look up to in the movies and in the comic magazines. I'm with them everyday. So with that, I feel very safe not to mind that I'm crowded with friends. But to be more specific with this superhero thing, I have one hero best friend in mind.

And with every single breath that I take everyday, she's there to make it the best. She's there to catch my every fall, every tear that is shed form the corner of my eyes, every hair that falls from the top of my head. She's the support that I need to continue on with my fragile life. She gives a patient ear to everything that I have to say. Even if it bores her to death. But hey, she's my superhuman and she can withstand anything including my boring and nonsense emotional break downs. She bears the heart of a lion, and she bears a pure heart of gold. She's always there to help me around, always there to kiss my wounds.

She's amazing. She's the tone that makes my laugh, the lines that draws my smile. Without her, I wouldn't be this happy with my life. Jennica Prudencio is simply my hero, because everyday, she makes me happy and she makes me feel good that no one ever made me feel. And that is all that I need to keep on going.

She's no bird, no plane, and she's definitely not Superman. She's Jennica Prudencio, my super-bestfriend.

Words Not Dared Spoken

Streets have grown to be silent of the country's innate language. What ever happened to using our "Wikang Filipino"? Are we not ,Filipino men, required to speak our dialect? Confused as already am, what's the use of our "Wikang Filipino"?
Language is a form of communication wherein two people can comprehend clearly, without obscurity, what each other is trying to imply. The world maybe facing now the change of growth in technology but does that mean that our language has to go with the flow too?
"Wikang Filipino" is what makes us Filipinos, Filipinos. It is what makes us who we are and defines us what we are. We, Filipinos, are known for our language throughout the globe. But with the rapid growth of change, is it necessary for us to neglect the fact that Filipino is our language? I mean does it require also for it to change?
Yes, we may have any form of communication we want, but what about out "Wikang Filipino"? Are we not to use it still?
I'm a concerned Filipino saying that change is very much evident. This "Buwan ng Wika", let's fight for what we believe in. And through the fire we must.
Wikang Filipino wants to be free.
